Cruising is perceived as an exciting adventure. It's a brand new experience for most of your attendees, because over 80% of the population has never cruised. They'll discover...
Absolutely! A cruise can save you up to 40% compared to a hotel because almost everything is included. Meals, meeting rooms, A/V, coffee breaks, activities, entertainment and even room service are part of the all-inclusive cruise fare. You spend nothing on linens, florals, lighting, labor or state/city taxes, which saves you money and gives you time to devote to your business agenda and attendees. Do the math and you’ll do a cruise.

Overall Rating, Gold Stars- Gold stars reflect the Berlitz Cruise Guide star system as used in The Berlitz Ocean Cruising & Cruise Ships 2009 by Douglas Ward, published annually for over 25 years.
How Berlitz rates the ships is detailed in the Knowledge Center, so you know what to expect at each star level. Over 400 separate items on each ship are objectively evaluated and scored to produce the star ratings, so ships can have the same star level based on entirely different merits.
Seasite is licensed to use the Berlitz star system to indicate the overall rating of ships offered for your group events.
Seasite’s Power Search allows you to select a range of star ratings in a single search to include multiple service levels. For example, from 3+ stars to 4+ stars.
Hotel Equivalents – In addition to the star rating for each ship, we also identify “hotel-equivalents” for each star-level of ships as a way for event planners who are more familiar with hotel brands to interpret the Berlitz stars.
# Guest rooms needed - Unlike hotel pricing, cruise fares are almost all-inclusive and are quoted per person, assuming double occupancy. If your event is usually booked “Single Occupancy” be advised that single occupancy aboard ship is often priced at 2 full fares – which may be comparable to a hotel’s per person rates when group meals, taxes, A/V etc are all factored in. When single cruise rates don’t fit the budget, cruise planners can arrange for participants to share a room or pay the difference to bring their spouses/guests.
