Compagnie du Ponant’s philosophy of cruising is to offer small ship cruising with a bit of French flavor, subtly blending a stylish, yet comfortable ambiance with discreet and welcoming service. Guests will enjoy the best that France offers in cuisine, wine and service in an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. It is our goal to make guests feel as if they are on their own private yacht, while sailing to the unsoiled corners of the world.

Zodiac® Fleet
All yachts are equipped with a fleet of Zodiac® boats which comfortably transports the passengers to land & allows for exceptional voyages of discovery. This is a wonderful way to enjoy “up close and personal” exploratory excursions along coastlines and shallow water ports. These vehicles are safe, stable and durable as well as easy to board. Our highly trained crew operate and maintain them.

Dress Code

Casual resort attire is suitable for day time, both onboard and ashore. We suggest a pair of rubber-soled sandals or sneakers to wear on deck and a pair of good walking shoes.

Dress is relaxed and casually elegant during the evenings. For the Gala evening Dinner, our guests generally wear cocktail dresses and/or sport jackets.

Fitness Center

We offer a Fitness or Sports center with state-of-the-art exercise machines such as Kinesis equipment, stationary cycling, treadmills, sauna, massage area, Hammam Turkish baths, relaxation room and Balneo shower with air jet baths (select ships).

Beauty Salon

Le Boreal & L’Austral feature a Carita™ beauty salon. Carita™ is a well-known Parisian haute couture of beauty and hair for over 60 years. At these salons, discover a world of tailor-made treatments, dedicated to the beauty of the face, body and hair. We also feature a beauty salon and wellness center on our other vessels.

 

Laundry Service

Laundry service is available onboard all of our ships for a nominal fee per item.

Health and Medical

• Doctor and/or nurse onboard on every vessel
• The ship’s infirmary available 24 hours
• Equipped to treat non-emergency matters

Children's Programs and Policies

Le Boreal, L’Austral and Le Diamant provide adjoining or flexible stateroom configurations which accommodate families nicely. Ponant Kids Club provides baby-sitting service upon request, children’s menus, fun tea parties, games, piano lessons and a host of other activities.

Smoking Policy 

Smoking is only permitted on outside decks of all ships.
