In recognition of its all-around attention to the environment, MSC Fantasia became the first ever passenger ship to receive the prestigious “6 Golden Pearls” award from international certification body Bureau Veritas (BV) - recognition that it’s one of the greenest ships in the world. A similar certification has been awarded to the new MSC Splendida which, in using the same advanced systems, is set to achieve the same outstanding results.

The MSC Fantasia also won the Green Planet Award 2008/2009 – the most prestigious environmental award in the Swiss travel and holiday sector.

MSC Cruises is well-versed in the best destinations around the globe, most of which are available on 7-night cruises.

Mediterranean destinations include Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands; Tenerife, Canary Island; Heraklion, Crete; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Limassol, Cyprus; Alexandria and Port Said, Egypt; Marseille, Ajaccio, Villefranche and Cherbourg, France; Katakolon, Piraeus, Rhodes and Santorini, Greece; Corfu, Greek Isles; Funchal, Madeira; Malta; Casablanca and Tangier, Morocco; Lisbon, Portugal; Catania and Palermo, Sicily; Barcelona, Cadiz, Ibiza, Malaga, and Valencia, Spain; Tunis, Tunisia, Antalya, and Istanbul, Turkey; Odessa and Yalta in the Ukraine; as well as Monte Carlo, Monaco.

South America and South Africa are scheduled to have six MSC vessels seasonally home-ported there, sailing mostly on 7-night itineraries, with some additional voyages as short as 3,4,5 and 6 nights.

The line’s Caribbean sailings depart from Fort Lauderdale and feature Deep Caribbean, as well as Caribbean-Panama itineraries.

In Northern Europe, ships sail itineraries that explore the Norwegian Fjords and Baltic Capitals as well as destinations in Scotland and England.
