Air and Transfers

Air Transportation

There are several options to consider when planning your group's air transportation for their cruise program:

Your Own Corporate Air Provider - We recommend using your own air provider if already have an established relationship for the most flexibility and convenience. If you choose this option, please book your attendees' arrival flights at least 3 hours prior to sailing and departure flights at least 3 hours after your ship's scheduled arrival back in port.

Cruise Line Air - We do not recommend using cruise line's Air/Sea package for incentive or corporate groups. Cruise line air schedules are not flexible and are not necessarily the most convenient, often requiring stopovers and/or connecting flights to your port city. Also, don't be misled by cruise line brochure air rates - they don't apply to groups.

Seasite's Air Provider Partners - Your Seasite cruise advisor can refer you to our established maritime air travel partners who are experienced in providing the best rates and service for cruise groups.

Transfers to the Ship

You also have several ways to arrange your group's transfers between the airport and pier:

Private Transfers - The preferred way to handle incentive and corporate cruise groups, private transfers include customized signage at the airport and on your transfer vehicles, and individual meet and greet service at the airport. Your Seasite cruise advisor can refer you to our partner DMC's in worldwide cruise ports who will handle all the details.

Cruise Line Transfers - Roundtrip transfers between the airport and pier are included for passengers who purchase air from the cruise lines (they are not exclusive - your attendees will be transferred with the ship's other passengers arriving at the same time). You can also purchase one way or roundtrip transfers from the cruise lines if you are not using their air program. In either case, transfers are valid only on embarkation (sailing) and debarkation (departure) days.

Taxis
- If your ship's departure port is close to the airport (Ft. Lauderdale, for example),  you might want to let your attendees take taxis and expense the cost.
